One of the questions I noodled a lot on during my vacation is where the limitations of AI will appear. For now, every task that can not yet be solved by AI can be a few months later, it seems.

However, as every technology, at some point it will start to,plateau and the limits of the technology will become more visible. And then it becomes more clear where to invest time and energy as it will allow for a more sustained benefit.

Currently, I feel that, especially in software engineering, anything we focus on as humans is solved or solvable with AI within the foreseeable future. And I want AI to solve these tasks. Humans are tool builders and we are in the process building a new generation of incredibly powerful tools that will bring humanity to a much better place.

So, I am spending quite a bit of time seeking to reinvent myself to fit in this new reality that is emerging. As my challenge to you: what are you doing to reinvent yourself?
