Early January of this year, I posted the first reflection, titled “Things are going faster”. From that point on, six days per week, except during the summer vacation, I have posted daily reflections. The seventh day, Sunday, was reserved for my weekly blog post. When you read this, I have already left for my Christmas break (in Malaga, catching some sun) as this is the last reflection for the year 2025 that I will post. When reflecting on the year, I realize that a lot of good things happened this year that I am grateful for. But I keep being amazed with how fast time goes by. As I age, the days become longer and the years become shorter, even if I try to create as many memorable moments as possible. I have shared reflections on technical topics, including of course AI, philosophical topics, such as stoicism and buddhism, controversial topics, such as the one about God, and reflections on the techno-pessimist state of Europe and how to turn it to techno-optimism. In many ways, I feel I have shared my life philosophy in many small puzzle pieces, 272 to be exact. It has helped me reflect on what I believe in and find important. I hope it has helped you and provided something of value to you as well. The one reflection I am not yet clear on is whether I continue with this next year.
