Accelerating the adoption of digital — software, data and AI — technologies in industry and society.

You also hate Elon Musk?

Although I am not a fan of Elon Musk’s endeavour into politics and I hope he goes back to running companies soon, I am totally in awe of his ability to build companies. Tesla was the first serious electric car company and paved the way for the entire automotive industry who otherwise would have just claimed that it was impossible. SpaceX took on the government and the established rocket industry to provide lift into orbit at a fraction of the cost by creating a reusable rocket. Neuralink provides direct brain computer interfaces, starting with quadriplegics. StarLink offers connectivity anywhere on the planet using more than 7000 satellites. Each of these companies is highly mission driven, whether it is the climate, making humankind interplanetary or offering connectivity in rural areas around the world. One of my frustrations with the western world, and especially Europe, is our lack of ambition and willingness to make the world a better place for our children and their offspring. Rather than hating people who get things done, let’s aspire to be one of those people!
