There is something really weird that I reflected on: the law of attraction. The idea is that when you want something really bad and you are able to visualize it in your head as clear as you humanly can, the universe conspires to give it to you. Of course, it doesn’t work for everything, obviously. No matter how bad I want to be 18 again, it won’t happen. But it has happened several times in my life where I was ready for the next thing to take on in a professional role or something in my private life. When I got really clear on what I wanted and was able to visualize it, within some months it actually happened. I was offered the opportunity. My challenge, and I think this is true for many who are reading this, is that I am not clear on what I want. I want a whole bunch of, often contradicting, things and I’m a bit fuzzy on what that would look like. So, life is unable to give it to me as I am not asking for it clearly enough. As we have one life and we only live it once, let’s make sure we get clear on what the next milestone is that we want to get to.
